Niger Delta Delta University commenced a TETEFUND sponsored Computer Training (Base Modules) for 50 Admin (Non-Academic) Staff of the institution. The training covers the following computer topics; Computer Essentials, Word processing, Spreadsheets and online Essentials. The 5-day programme commenced on Monday the 11th day of January and ended on Friday 15th of January 2021.
The Intermediate modules training for 50 Academic staff drawn from all the faculties of the university was held concurrently with the Base Modules Training. This training focused on Presentation, Using Databases, Online Collaborations, IT Security, Project Planning, Digital Marketing and ICT in Education. This training commenced on the 11th of January 2021 and ended on 22nd January 2021.
The Advanced Module course of the Tetfund sponsored training targeted the university ICT staff. Advanced Word Processing, Advanced Spreadsheets, Advanced Presentation were the key focus of this training which started on the 11th of January and ended on the 22nd of January 2021.
The trainings were held at the University Information Communication Technology Centre and participants were provided with training/practice materials.
Participants will be issued Certificates of Participation and International Computer Drivers License (ICDL) which is a globally recognized Computer skills Certification programme; trademark of European Computer Driving License Foundation Ltd.) upon successful completion of an online examination.
