Philosophy

Clinical sciences combine principles of medicine, chemistry, biology and experimental science. It’s a field that usually involves laboratory work, such as testing, evaluating, detecting and analyzing cells, blood or bodily fluids.

Programme Objectives

  • To allow students to gain a knowledge and understanding of:
  • The key concepts of clinical science as applied to medicine
  • The interface of basic and clinical science
  • Clinical research methodology
  • The generation of testable hypotheses
  • The principles of hypothesis testing
  • Study design, analysis and reporting
